Anderson county leased the property, has been closed for a while now, Pretty cool going down in there, probably going to end up abandoned like the park up the road from it

Weldon Island is an anglers paradise. Here there are two good ramps Weldon Island and Hatton's Ford, where a fisherman does not have to go far for great Lake Hartwell fishing. Very close by there are good amenities. Waltrip's Store and Restaurant, great breakfast, lunch and dinners. Waltrip's the best old fashion hamburgers too. In addition they have 5 small motel rooms, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable.
