About Campground

A moderate 45-minute hike along a newly constructed trail is worth the effort to view this 100-foot wide, 12-foot high waterfall on the Chauga River.

Primitive camping is allowed along the trail, but campsites must be more than 50 feet from streams and trails, and more than 0.25 miles from roads

Directions

From Westminster, drive west 7.5 miles on US Highway 76 and turn right onto Cobb Bridge Road (Oconee County S-37). Drive 1.6 miles; turn left onto Spy Rock Road (FS 748, graveled). Drive 1.8 miles to FS 748C (on the right) and park by the side of the road. Hike east on FS 748C for 0.3 mile to the trail and hike 0.7 mile to the waterfall.

Riley Moore Falls is a must see near Walhalla, SC. The trail is drivable to a certain point, then you need a 4W drive for the remainder of the trail to the hiking path. Nothing too crazy, and most people just parked their cars and walked this portion. Maybe half a mile further.

Once you enter the trailhead, it's a brief 1 mile trail in to the pretty water fall and swimming hole. Nice beach area as well. Great spot for littles as well.

Forest road 748 c I walk .Abouslety perfect.I went down the road Chun ram park is on you'll see the sign.Way shorter that way.Couple miles down the dirt road 748 c has a red gate.Go prepared. But nothing to hard of a hike. Hiking back out is more difficult.
