The menu includes a variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts and cocktails, and the venue features a rooftop bar for incredible sunset views.
Rented a pontoon today with family. Six adults, a teenager, a first grader & a large dog. We were all comfortable. Boat ran well. We did some fishing & some exploring. The marina also offers RV camping, full hook-up or electric/water. The marina store was well-stocked, but overpriced, as would be expected. Boat rental was very reasonable, however. Restaurant was closed for the season. Lake was low, but honestly I enjoyed mostly having the lake to ourselves. Highly recommend!
Always a great time when we rent a pontoon from Big Water Marina. Everyone is nice and makes sure we are taken care of before the trip and after the trip. Boats are in excellent condition.
If I could leave no stars I would. Was a tenant here for 5 years and this is by far the WORST years we've spent at any marina. In the 5 years we were there they blew through different 15 managers... think that speaks for itself. Their docks are ABSOLUTELY not safe. I fell through twice and now have a permanent hematoma (blood clot pretty much) that could have to be operated on if it continues to get worse. The professionalism of managers, and owners is a complete joke. I could go on and on about how poorly this marina is ran but you'd be here for a week reading it... I would be better off writing a book about it. This place has potential for something great just not with the people owning and running it now. Take this from someone who has spent a great deal of time, and money here and GO SOMEPLACE ELSE.
Had a great experience! Stayed 2 nights in one of the cabins. Our cabin was spotless and very cozy! We had a great view from the porch where we enjoyed coffee in the morning. We went to a show at Wendell's. Can't stay much closer anywhere else! We enjoyed spending time on the beach and just floating around in the water. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our welcome bag! Loved the sitting areas and would have loved a fire (had it been cooler)! Would love to visit again sometime in the future!
