We have seasonal here. The grounds are kept to a T. The staff is always really friendly and courteous. There is always activity’s for children as well as adults. Highly recommend trying this place out. Guaranteed to have a good experience!
Takeaway: "Probably fine most of the time. Consider going elsewhere if you have kids."
Had a pretty crummy time. Stayed the night of September 23rd.
Good ice cream and pizzas, friendly staff, pool table in the office, etc.
The park was hosting someone's 50th or 60th(?) birthday. We made friends with a bunch of the partygoers early on and had a fun time to start. Our kids liked the music.
But the music played until 3am. I could hear it inside our camper trying to put my kids down.
I called at 8PM or so and they said curfew wasn't until later. The woman at the desk said there was nothing she could do. I explained I had kids and it sucked, she said to call back after curfew. When I called back after curfew no one answered the phone. I called a lot of times.
We brought it up again the next morning on the way out of the park but my wife said the folks at the front desk obviously didn't care.
Probably fine most of the time. Consider going elsewhere if you have kids.
We have brought our family here multiple times and always have a great time. The property is very well maintained. My kids love going to the pool and getting ice cream. They also highly enjoy the multiple large playgrounds. We we definitely be going back.
Beautiful campground. We were worried about the seasonal to weekender ratio but everyone was very nice. Clean sites, even though they had an early check out they were still very accommodating. There was a dog that barked consistently at night at one of the seasonal sites; owner may have been at the hosted pool party event; luckily we were ready for bed and couldn't hear it when we were inside our camper. We will definitely be back!
We had a blast! There were so many fun things to do right on the campground. Every single staff member was so kind and welcoming. Bathrooms and shower houses were always clean. When the kids “caught all of the fish” in the pond, the owners son recommended a great fishing lake not too far away. The kids won a million bouncy balls playing the games. The .50 cent claw machine also did not disappoint. “Stuffies”for everyone!! I think we will start making a yearly trip to Pete’s retreat.
