There are only 2 dedicated camp spots with 4 makeshift fire pits. No reservations for this area. Two restrooms, and you carry your garbage out of the campground.
Peterson Lake Campground is little more than a semi-open area that is a popular stop with locals for fishing, hiking, picnicking and vehicle accessable camping. The area is user maintained so once again we urge everyone to pack out their trash and leave the area in better shape than when you arrived.
Free campground with water/restrooms services. One of the best secrets of the Kenai Peninsula - lake front camping spots and beautiful views. Wildlife abounds all around the lake - take some relaxing time to walk, kayak, fish, or photograph the surroundings.
