Located on the bank of the Androscoggin river 4 miles east of Dixfield, Maine on US/2 and Hwy.17 East.
Great fishing nearby, on the quiet side, clean facilities. The owners are wonderful, friendly, hospitable. A playground for the kiddos, a huge barn full of stuff-ongoing yard sale- I guess you could say. And there are tepees!
We stopped in here July 31, 2019 and the place looked abandoned. There were dead flowers in the hanging baskets, it looked like there were power poles on the level spots, all in a row. There was a for sale sign out front and the were working on the highway repaving but that did not seem to impede entrance to the property. We moved on.
The owners were extremely kind. I stopped about 7 o'clock. They gave me a fire starter and cut some kindling for me. The bathrooms were very clean
What a wonderful find! Not only do they have excellent internet for folks working remotely but this place is very tidy n quiet. Easy access from Hwy 2 n so many amenities! We’re traveling late in the season and they still accommodated us where no one else would! Lovely place with equally lovely caretakers.
