You will turn down Cattle Drive when you arrive, on your left will be a large garage building with a red metal roof. You can park directly past garage in the field and walk into the camp site.
We rented kayaks in July and spent a glorious four hours out on the Penobscot. Danielle and Chris were fantastic to work with and the shuttle service to have the kayaks dropped off was really convenient. Thanks for a perfect day! We’ll be renting again soon.
Danielle was extremely helpful. After explaining that we were new to the area, she suggested we paddle down the Penobscot River. The current is practically non-existent, so it was easy going. The weather was beautiful and the leaves were just starting to change color. We saw several eagles, one of which swooped down in front of us and snagged a fish - you don't get to see that everyday!
Despite having to change our schedule multiple times due to unpredictable weather conditions, Chris displayed remarkable patience and understanding throughout the entire process.
Our experience on the water was nothing short of magical. The serene and calm waters provided the perfect backdrop to the stunning scenery, making it a picturesque adventure. Most importantly, my wife and son had the time of their lives, and their smiles were priceless.
Thanks to Chris's professionalism and adaptability, our day turned out to be truly exceptional. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fantastic day out with their loved ones. We can't wait to return!
My husband and I had a fantastic day canoeing on the Penobscot thanks to Chris and Skyline. Beautiful and easy spots to stop, plus gorgeous views along the way. We even saw an eagle! Customer service was superb and responsive. Thank you for a wonderful day!
Both Danielle via email and Chris via phone and text were extremely responsive and helpful when renting a kayak. I booked it easily online and the kayak, paddle and life jacket were all left at the marina at our scheduled time yet Chris still came by and helped me launch the kayak. We had a great day paddling around the river followed by lunch after. Thank you both and I’d definitely rent again when I’m in Maine! Here’s a picture of my husband and our pup using the kayak!
