About Campground

Our Camping area is located right on the rim of the majestic Palo Duro Canyon. We are only steps away from the entrance to the Palo Duro Canyon State Park, and miles away from the noise of civilization. All of our sites are level with easy access (pull-through). All sites have full hook-ups. Water, sewer drain and either 30 or 50 amp electric service, but not both. We have acres of "free range" tent camp and primitive camp sites available. Outdoor activities and the zip-line are all on site. Cooler temperatures! summer breeze means temps during the summer months are much cooler "on the rim. Strong cell phone coverage and local area. No steep roads to negotiate. The State Park has 10% grade roads which can be challenging for camp rigs.

Location Location Location...to the canyon. Very close quarters from site to site. Tipouts be careful. We had a packet waiting with directions to site. They have coffee and muffins in morning, usually. Paid second night next morning. 10% discount for goodsam. Other discounts available. Watch knuckles when opening shower house door. Would have gotten 4 stars but so much mold in men's handicap shower almost didnt go in. Couldnt use the other shower as there was no chair or shelf to put clothes without getting wet. It was cleaner. Probably way fewer people use it. Water was hot and soap came off fast. Need to pay attention to cleaning. Otherwise, quiet at night even though next to hwy.

The loudest campground backing right up to the freeway. If you want a good nights sleep this is not the place to go. The bathrooms were filthy. Hair in the showers, dirt on the doors, not clean at all. We wanted to support these folks since they are Christians. But they need to work on their grounds more.

Traveling in my minivan. Just needed a small safe spot to spend the night. Very accommodating lady put me next to the office. Perfect!

Supposed to be open until 5pm but we show up at 3:30 and the lady is gone but finally shows up. Hey it's 2024... forward to a cell phone. Loud highway noise. We were told we would get a secluded rv spot and that was not even close to true. Rude employees. Bad spot.

They really should call this place a trailer park with a few RV sites. It's okay for an overnight as it's on top of the highway. If you have a dog, be prepared for them to suffer from sticker burrs. The staff is a little confused and quick to criticize when unnecessary. Our site had broken glass, food and trash on the ground. On the positive side, the laundry facility was excellent and a good price. Sorry, but I wouldn't come here again.
