We were passing through Vega, TX and got stuck in a horrible blizzard, we found this rv park on google and decided to stay the night to wait the storm out. The owners are very sweet and even gave us homemade pies. Very cute park and we are so glad it’s here.

If your daily range has you in the area, this place gets it done with big rig options.

Misty is a great host. The pie stories are true πŸ˜‹

She is also a fine ambassador to her Vega community, as she suggests what guests could visit in this small town in the expanse, with a historic slice of 66.

I was a bit tired from some big pushes with an injury, and it was windy, so we actually decided to stay a second day. Taking Misty's suggestions, we had an unexpectedly nice chill day....

and we tracked down the source of the pies πŸ˜‰

Misty and Peggy gave a very warm welcome over the phone and in person to our family from Japan on our trip across the US.

They welcomed us into their home even though we arrived later than expected, just before sunset, and presented us with delicious cookies they had baked that day and even a rare US bill for my son. They also had many kind, warm, and humorous words for us until just before we left the next morning, leaving our family feeling very happy and grateful.

We were very lucky to have found this park and meet these wonderful ladies on our trip. We will definitely be back to see them again someday!

Extremely easy in and out. Large spaces, very little leveling needed. Great power and water. Misty the manager is a rare find absolutely delightful to work with, she definitely goes the extra mile to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Will stay again when passing this way.

Misty was so welcoming while confirming our reservations. She gave us each some tasty homemade cheesecake and bottled water before we left her office, and she recommended a really good restaurant right across the street that served authentic Mexican food, which we really enjoyed. Her hospitality was so welcome after a long day on the road. This park is small and tidy and a sweet little gem in north Texas.
