Forested campground but close enough to town. Minimal full hook up sites. Rangers here are some of the best. This park is on the coast and gets rain often, so my only suggestion is to pave the muddy roads.
We camp in our RV. They are working very hard to fix and upgrade everything. The staff are friendly and helpful! The jacuzzi is huge and HOT! The laundry facilities worked well. You can use the app or a credit card. The bathrooms are really nice! The lodge is very large with a beautiful view of the ocean. It is about a half mile walk to the beach or a short drive. You can drive on the beach if you have the right rig. We had a wonderful 2 weeks here!
Perfect for a quiet getaway. Walking distance to beach. Well maintained, with improvements in progress. Sanitary dumps could be more accessible. Minimal phone signals (a plus for us). WiFi at the welcome center & lodge.
