The Park is beautiful, and peaceful. It's arranged well and has a large nice playground. I was there when it was packed, the restrooms and showers clean and serviced well.
Pictures are of Am HaSefer ( People of The Book) We met for a wonderful Sukkot ~Feast of Tabernacles. There were two beautiful Sukkah's!
A fairly nice, somewhat rustic, country park right on the river. Large campground with mostly water and electricity. Some sites have no hook-ups, but water is nearby everywhere in the campground. Play structure and disk golf are very popular. Fishing and water play are also popular activities in this park. Lots of old trees provide amble shade on hot and sunny days. A nice park to visit for a few days.
Park itself is really nice. Diac golf, dog run area and boat launch. Problem is with camp host and another County Employee that lives on site. Camp host ridea around all day in his golf cart and is rude. Tried to stop him 2 different times. Looked right at me as i stood on the side of my site and he kept om going. Other Country employee that live by the sewer dump station allows his 6 month dog to just run. When we tried to pet it he yelled at us to leave his dog alone in a very threatening manner. The sewer dump is now locked and cost $7.00 to dump. In my opinion each stay should come with a code for 1 tank empty and charge thise not staying.
