Located on the edge of Forest Service land in the Maury Mountains and nestled under large ponderosa pine trees, this campground is relatively easy to reach yet still has a secluded feel. From Prineville: Travel southeast on Highway 380 for about 32 miles. Turn south onto Forest Service Road 16 and continue for about 5 miles. Elkhorn Campground will be on your left, just past the National Forest Boundary.
