Even though the air was smoky from distant fires, the campground was still clean, quiet, and relaxing. The vault toilet was very clean and smelled good. Campsites were well spaced without a lot of braken and downed trees.
Great spot if you can't get in at Paige Springs. A bit pricey though clean and well maintained. Nice people. The only real improvement I would suggest would be to look at replacing the urinal in the men's bathroom/shower with another sit-down toilet.
We camped here on a whim while traveling through the area, as a part of our circle tour of the country. What a GEM! We loved the ponderosa trees (they are huge!) and it was so quiet. Not a lot to do in the area, but a nice hiking trail starts from the campground, and the solitude can hardly be beat!
