Pulled into the camp ground and thought I was in an episode of the X-Files. Run down campers and trailors. Did not see a sole, but heard a dog barking in the distance.
Beautiful view. You can stay here free.of charge for up to 13 days.. There is a restroom, but no showers. Good place to fish & relax.
Great place to camp. Can stay for 14 days and your next to Columbia River. Rattlesnakes are aroun, just need to keep your eyes open; )
HEADS UP RECREATORS AND VISITORS - this is *not* a campground. This is a primitive site
Also, primitive camping is only available from April 1 - October 31.
Between November 1 - March 31 Threemile Canyon is only open for day use recreation - sunrise to sundown per the Army Corps park rangers.
Easy river access, nice views, vault toilet. Overall, very nice.
Camped here in a 31 foot Class A motorhome with great views of the river and incredible sunrises every morning. Many repeat campers from the local area. Boat ramp and primitive restrooms available. Road is gravel coming in off of I-84 but is easy to navigate. Plenty of room for big rigs. Excellent cell service with both AT&T and Verizon.
