Well maintained campsite in beautiful Oregon. Camp host was very nice and we had a great experience here!
There are goathead weeds, poison ivy and lots of hunters passing through during the season. All night in fact coming into fill their waters.
But Rick is doing such a great job trying to restore the park to what it used to be. You can tell where people have abused the park and Rick is there doing his best. We did get robbed of our mashed potatoes twice by a baby skunk. He got into the pot, but we did not properly secure it.
Other than the hunters, this actually is a great place to bring older kids. Right on the river
This is a great campground -- nice spaces with plenty of water and toilets -- but the mosquitos and other bugs in the evening were otherworldly. We sheltered inside our teardrop trailer to keep from getting eaten alive!
Otherwise it's great.
