It is a fairgrounds. Not much else to it. If there isn't an event, it is fine as an overnight stop or if you have a specific reason to be in the area. There was nobody in charge on sight and we could not contact anyone for the WiFi password. Bathrooms were not very clean. No AT&T signal. At most, 2 bars Verizon. Stayed one night in April.
Oh my word. Where do I begin? SUPER FRESH EVERYTHING. (great! Now I'm hungry just thinking about it!) Thick layers of fresh meats delectable cheeses of course MY favorite is smoked. The sandwich is loaded with cold wet fresh veggies and pepperchini and ripe sweet juicy sliced tomatoes! You get two NOT ONE But two types of cheese on your sammy. Oh ya it's good. Also enjoy their deli lasagna or salads. Yummy! VALUE IS SPECTACULAR. And I get the oil vinegar dressing on it. Splish splash! Oh ya!
Apparently the firefighters just left. They had camped there while they were fighting the fire on Mt. Hood. We had the whole place to ourselves! If it hadn't been so smokey it would have been even more amazing, but we'll be back another time to check it out when the forest isn't on fire...
