From Zigzag, OR, take US Rt. 26 east 2.3 miles to campground on right. From Sandy, OR - Travel southeast on Highway 26 approximately 25 miles to the campground, which will be on the right hand side of the road..
Pretty nice campground with pit toilet. Love all the moss and massive conifers. It's a bit close to the road, but the creek drowns out most of the sound. This is Site 9.
Really peaceful and small campground right next to the river. It is also right next to HWY 26 and does get loud at night when trucks are driving by. If you are a light sleeper, try getting a site next to the river so the sound of water can drown out the trucks. It is close to anything you may need and the bathrooms were cleaner than expected. Will be back again!
Site #5 pull through is a little tight and uneven for a 16ft travel trailer however we made it work. Absolutely loved being on the river. You really can't hear Hwy 26 which is the big bonus. Super clean pit toilets and very nice camp hosts. We'll be back.
OMG THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL. Went hiking and wanted to camp afterwards. We tried multiple camp sites everything was full but this was the last place on the list before heading back home and they had room. The guy that was watching over the space was super friendly and we shared a cute convo. It started to rain but all I can say it was magical and beautiful. Would definitely go back.
