Great place to party, throw a frisbee or a football and tons of chicks in bikinis
Easy to use social distancing, kid friendly (bring life jackets ofcourse), good place to relax, go for a boat ride or watch the sunset and stargazing.
Find yourself a spot on the dock, crack a cold one, and enjoy views of sunsets, Mt. Hood, and my favorite, the traffic on the I-205 bridge at rush hour.
We always have fun boating here! Great view of the airport to watch planes taking off and landing.
NO CAR OR PEDESTRIAN ACCESS! ACCESS BY BOAT ONLY. This was always a family favorite! Been boating here for twenty years...it's getting less enjoyable because of people who do not respect or understand water recreation. Many people breaking glass and leaving it in the sand, not being safe on the water or in boats. If you go on a weekday, you will have a better time! NOTE: the Columbia River has tides like the ocean! Check your tide tables for the river so that you don't get stranded!
