Friendly environment and easy access for fishing off the bank. Able to get cell phone service as well. Easy to get to in any vehicle as well!

Had a great time. Happy to see frank is still as sharp as ever. The updated bathrooms are nice as well as the siding on all the structures. Wouldn't change a thing.

I stayed in an A frame this weekend, and it was okay. They are pretty basic units. The word "resort" can be sort of deceiving. This is a large campground with a mix of owners and visitors. Many people own trailers/rvs and have their own space that they pay for on a yearly basis. They have laundry, showers, restrooms, and a game room with some older arcade games. There is also a restaurant on premise with a full bar.

Late summer, the water in the reservoir gets very low. They have boat rentals and stand-up paddle boards. I have been here 2 times and have been able to catch fish each time. They regularly stock this lake with Trout, but I have also caught Bass and Bluegill.

Great place if you like to party!!! Stayed there the weekend after Labor Day they had a dog show on site. One group had a projector, band and dj until way past midnight. Quiet time was supposed to be 10pm. We went and politely asked the dj to turn it down (not off) at 11pm and they turned the music up. This group comes often as the projector was showing some really cool pictures from previous trips all titled Pine Hollow and the year it was from 2012 was the oldest year I saw.

The fire ban was still in place and we counted at least 5 sites had wood burning fires. Easy to tell the difference when there is smoke or not smoke.

Since it isn't being monitored for noise or anything else I would say great place to come party. Yes the charge for extra everything but worth it with all amenities on site.

We will be back we had a great time even with littles. Next time we know more what to expect.

as a local( from maupin , 19 miles away ) i have never rented a campsite, but i spend more time at the lake than on the hot shadeless deschutes in the summer, as a smartperson would. great bar , lively locals and the lake is stocked usually several times a year with all sizes , up to brooders, which are bigger than a lot of river salmon . talking 35 lb trout. In november odfw stocked 3000 more legal size fish. wanna raft, drive the twenty minutes to maupin , you wanna cool down and party hearty in a campground, sleep at the lake in the trees. just gas up before you come, marine supreme is all they had last year, 16 bucks a gallon
