From jct I-40 (exit 105) & Hwy 18: Go 2-1/2 mi NW on Hwy 18, then 13 mi N on Hwy 181.
They stay was great. Its nice they have a pool, gym, and laundry mat onsite. Staff was very nice and helpful when needed. Had some issues with a neighbor however it was resolved.
Just a stop over for a day but I must say everything looks great! Bathhouses were very clean, laundry room new machines, ease of use. I only interacted with ground crew, who were very kind. The pool was clean, park for kids, even a pet wash. We'll be back!
This is a great campground. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The campground was very clean along with the facilities. The campsites were good sized and the parking pad was a great idea. The owners really put a lot of thought into the layout of things. My only critique is the campground needs street lights. It is dark. And the traffic to get to the beach was awful. We went the long way to N. Topsail and it was faster than sitting in traffic to get to Surf city. The campground can't help that, just an FYI. We will definitely be back!!
WE LOVE IT HERE! I don’t even know where to start - we were just here for 2 weeks and it was so great that we even tried to adjust our schedule to try to stay longer. The staff is amazing, the grounds are SO clean and well kept, the sites are well maintained and spacious, awesome playground/pool/workout room/pool bar. Events every weekend for the kids & adults (we loved the kids Christmas party with crafts/treats and bingo with great prizes, & even a movie night). Just a gem of a place. Not to mention the great location - so close to all Surf City has to offer & only a 40 minute drive to Wilmington. I can’t say enough great things about all of the amenities, the awesome staff, wonderful events and the full time families who live there were so kind also. We are full-timers and we all agreed this was a favorite place - we were all bummed to leave and will definitely be back!
We stayed there Dec. 29th to Jan1, 2024 campsite was great, this was our first time there. Property is well kept. Kori the general manager checked us in, very friendly great personality. Thanks to Kori and Beth the activities coordinator we had a great time at the New year's eve party. Food, music and decorations were awesome. We are planning on going back again soon.
