Wonderful weekend experience.

We went in early November before the weather got cold, it was so quiet and peaceful as to almost forget that there was anyone else at the property. The remote location gave a sense of escaping to the woods while keeping all the comforts and convenience of modern life. The difficulty of access to the location actually gave me a sense of security in an otherwise open outdoor environment, so much so as to feel fine with leaving valuables open in the car overnight with the doors unlocked, and feeling like the only need for closing the window curtains as to block the sunlight for sleeping in.

The road to the cabins is one lane gravel with tight turns, and was so well hidden that we almost missed it completely, and even when we did find it we almost mistook it for a driveway, a 4 wheel trail, or farm equipment access.

Do not bring a large or heavy vehicle, and do use driving skills for difficult terrain.

The remote location and difficulty of access I found to be a major plus as it gave the quiet, dark, peace, and privacy of a camping experience while still having hot running water, a roof over your head, warm dry place to sleep, power to charge your phone and even a full kitchen.

Such a beautiful place! Franny is a cool lady also, Very personable. There are the most beautiful views of sunrise from the eco-cabins. I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

Stayed in the Fox Den cabin for a few nights. The "cabin" has a comfy bed, electricity, lights, a worn-out ceiling fan, and a basket of towels. There's a separate building equipped like a kitchen that I didn't utilize. Restrooms and showers are in this location. Water seems to be well water based on the hardness, odor, and heavy rust stains in the shower, sinks, and toilets. It's a rustic look for sure. Also, there is a nice area with a fire pit and stocked fire wood and starter twigs. Driving the hill to access the cabins might be a challenge depending on your vehicle--I did see a Prius there. Different situation if there is rain. A nice view from the hilltop.

Clean tiny cabins with great views. The shared kitchen had everything you needed and was clean and organized. As was the showers and bathrooms. Wonderful ridge views. I got to meet Franny and she was awesome. I highly recommend this place. I’ll be back for sure!

went to the fire and edm flow event. lots of fun! I was so pleasantly surprised when someone brought out a bunch of glow sticks, light whips, and glowing batons for people to play with as they danced! the goats were adorable and so friendly!! and so were the cats. the DJ was great. the campfire outside was nice, although I was hesitant about the health safety of burning scrap construction wood. the bathrooms are located in a trailer outside and are surprisingly comfy.
