I stayed at their small satellite park West of Perry for a month. When I pulled out I felt like I was leaving home. Clean quiet isolated but not too far from town. This is how an RV park should be run.
This RV park was a delight. Easy, convenient and personable staff. This is the way camping should be. Catch and release pond too.
Old Hwy 19 RV Park, is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed for an extended period, and the absolute nicest in Perry. We came because of my husband's job. The park, overall is pretty quiet, except for the occasional traffic on the road. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. This park is perfect for an overnight stay or long term.
Currently, there are around 20 sites with water, sewage, and electric. All are pull through sites. Unfortunately, there is not a laundry room, but there are several laundromats nearby, and wasn't a problem for us because we have a washer and dryer in our 5th wheel. There is not a bath house, but there are portable toilets on site (They may have showers, not sure.) There isn't a dog run, but from my understanding will be eventually, but there is lots of acreage to walk your dog.
The owners, John, Vicky, Brian, and Alicia go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. We came as tentants and left feeling as family.
You won’t find friendlier, more accommodating people!!! John and Vicky are great, and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We’ve seen them go above and beyond to accommodate guests, and to work with people who needed a place to park on short notice. The park is clean and well kept. They have a small bath house, laundry, and a new dog park. We’re here for our second winter, and coming back feels like coming home. Be sure to check out Old Hwy 19 RV Park when you’re in the area; you won’t be disappointed.
Don't be fooled, this place is a beautiful and safe place to stay. Driving up from Perry we were a little concerned. But when we arrived we were met with the owner, who by far was one of the nicest and most accommodating people we met on our trip cross country. We called ahead on Jan 1st 2024 and even though he said he may not have a full hookup he guaranteed us a electric hookup. When we got there we called him and he led us too our site. A very nice man, told us all about the area and even invited us to the clubhouse for dinner. Reasonable price too. Would definitely stay again. Please give some business to this family run business. 👍
