From Hwy 98 to Carrabelle across Carrabelle Bridge. L on Timber Island Bridge. Enter on R.
My family of 6 spent July 2 to July 17 here and had a great time. The pool and grounds were in great condition and the boat dock more than addiquite for our 24ft boat.
Deb and Jim were great at getting us checked in while someone who was off fishing had parked in a manner that made accessing our site somewhat difficult. With great teamwork, they made sure we go backed in without issue. Thanks again!
Will be back next year for an entire month!
My parents, husband and I LOVE this place! We just stayed for a week after my parents stayed for 4 weeks. Compared to the other campgrounds around this one is much quieter, quaint, and spread out. Jimmy is so helpful and always there if you need help! The place couldn't run without him!! We can't wait to come back in September!
We stayed here three nights and fished two days. The sites are roomy and long. No much shade or facilities but the pool is great. The boat launch is just down the street making it very convenient for us. Beautiful sunsets. The only negative was no laundry facilities and the one in Carrabelle did not look inviting. Stayed here before and will return again.
We had stay at this campsite last December 2021 and absolutely love it. The campsite itself was relaxed, quiet and friendly and is set in a beautiful area which is great for walking and cycling. However, it is the genuine kindness of the staff that make us come back. Thank you Bill for your kindness and patience on rebooking my stay for this year, it is staff like you that make our stay so memorable.
Very quiet, clean, well maintained RV park. Electric boxes and water/sewer hookups clean, modern and well maintained. Great pool, observation deck, very clean and well stocked camp shower/restroom with a shower chair and plenty of hooks and shelves for easy access to your necessities while in the shower. Level sites and beautiful, fancy brick-paved roads. Impressed by the screened in common area next to the pool deck with a fully functional kitchen and plenty of seating for small groups, complete with charcoal grills and utensils! Also, club is close off the highway (but not TOO close) and easy to find.
Welcome packet included most all the info we needed, including a paper with local events and happenings -- that was a nice touch. Would have been nice to also have a site map in our welcome packet, though, as we were unaware of a dead end road where we had to take our towed vehicle and dolley off to turn around to get back out since we cannot back up with the tow dolley hooked up. Could have avoided a lot of headache if we had known it was a dead end. We did not have to go down that road to get to our site: (our packet had actual written out directions for that) we were just exploring when we arrived (most campgrounds allow for the fact that rigs can't back up with tow dolleys and usually have NO roads with dead ends).
Staff was very helpful during phone contact, but have not had any personal contact with them as of yet. All in all, VERY pleased we found this site. Close to town and all basic necessities like car wash, grocery store, hardware store and laundromat, and many interesting local activities and shoreline available within reasonable driving distance. Looking forward to our month-long stay!
