Perfect campsite with 360° view, accessible by motorhome and free. (you have to go up to the top left and not stay at the GPS point)
There are no amenities, but it's free and just a few miles away from Zion Park.
Not a bad place for free dispersed camping but can be crowded. There are 3 roads to turn off from the almost asphalt road. For me 2 of them were too difficult for my trailer and the one in the middle was flooded. With the flooded road everyone was crowded on the asphalt road. Not too much camping but it was doable. This was on a weekday.
Perfect place to set up a tent or car camp and easy access. Be careful with the giant hole closer to the dead end. Saw a truck with an airstream make it through (May2023)
We pitched a tent and left it there when we drove in to Zion for 2 days. The entrance is about 17min from canny and the visitor center/shuttle bus is about 40min away.
There are other roads you can take but need a 4x4 for sure.
Nice and quiet campground for 4x4 RVs and tents. Perfect to stay for one or two nights. Lots of space between small trees. Fire rings at every site. No restrooms or water. Road has some holes but is slowly drivable but all kind of cars.
