Located 20 miles south of Wister and 6 miles north of Talihina on Hwy 271 one mile south of the entrance to the Talimena Scenic Drive (Hwy 1).
Good place to drive. It would be good if we have information center working 24*7.
The only bad thing was the weekday hours. Guy only works from 9am to 1pm. The bathrooms were in kind of rough shape, but they worked for camping. We had a great time and would go back.
Absolutely beautiful the first 2 weeks of November! So many amazing places to pull off and enjoy the sights!
This place is so beautiful. A must see . Strongly recommend a Sunrise visit or a Sunset visit at the panoramic Vista. Winter season seems best for the sunset views . Fall time is definitely best for the foliage .
Great hiking trails. Clean bathrooms. Nice camping area . Quite and very well maintained. Beautiful area.
