Beavers Bend State Park is located in the mountainous region of southeast Oklahoma along the shores of Broken Bow Lake and the Mountain Fork River. Guests traveling down the winding roads through the forests of pine and hardwood trees will find adventure, beautiful scenery and plenty of activities inside this state park. The scenic beauty of Beavers Bend State Park makes it one of Oklahoma's most popular areas.

Towering timbers, crystal clear waters and rugged terrain make this state park an outdoor lover's paradise. Visitors to Beavers Bend State Park will enjoy hiking, biking, boating, fishing, water skiing, nature center activities, river float trips, canoeing, horseback riding and much more. Trout streams are stocked year-round and the park features two catch-and-release trophy areas. Escape into the serenity of nature and follow the Mountain Fork River as it flows from the base of Broken Bow Lake through the park below. This area provides visitors with spectacular views, as well as excellent canoeing and fishing opportunities.

Nestled among the trees and alongside the Mountain Fork River are rustic and modern cabins, RV sites and tent campsites, as well as two group camps. This 3,482-acre park offers 47 cabins with kitchenettes, plus 393 campsites and over 50 tent sites spread over eight camping areas. All RV and tent sites are available for online reservations. Beaver Bend state park was always a special place in our hearts for our family where my kids caught their first trouts. However, the trout fishing has been unbelievable in a bad way. I loved the way they preserved the area between the bridges for mostly fly fisherman as far as I remembered. However, we saw trash/ candy wrapper flowing down in the river, folks using spin rods with spoons/ any barbs hooks, but the most unbelievable thing was an inflatable float (strictly prohibited) coming down the river where people were fly fishing.

We Still love the hiking trails and wild lives. The Newly built cabins were awesome. But We need more monitoring in term of fishing to preserve such beautiful fishing/ camping spot in OK.

Absolutely beautiful, from the entrance of Beavers Bend State Park, to it's winding hiking trails and lookouts, to the various creeks that run throughout.

The hiking is challenging, but approachable; for intermediate and beginners, alike.

Visit. Explore the park in all it's glory. Marvel at majestic beauty that Mother Nature has to offer.

The fall colors are amazing. We took the family to the Fall Festival. It was full of fun and food. We made all kinds of hand crafted items. The vendors came in from all over the United States. There was wine tasting from one of the local wineries. We took a hike afterwards and took a few pictures.

There is so much beauty in this place. So many places to walk around and explore. Little creeks to find lots of cool rocks, and see what the beavers do to trees. We loved it! Breath of fresh air.

A beautiful state park with something for every kind of nature lover, from hiking to canoeing to camping & beyond. Known for fishing & boating, the lake & river are ideal. Paddle boats, horses & mini train add to the fun. The new Lookout restaurant has views of the river & friendly staff. The only negative is online paid parking is required but limited service in the park to actually pay it.
