We stayed at some cabins nearby and we happened upon these trails after deciding old man's cave was waaaaay too busy. We came across the campsite to use the rest rooms right quick and it was lively with families cooking out, children bike riding and having fun. Surprisingly we only happened upon 2 other people on the trail. It was so serene and peaceful. Lush and green , some muddy inclines that I enjoy climbing up. It took about 2 hours for our group to finish so we were feeling pretty good by the end of it. Plenty of up and down bits, occasional logs to sit on, I'd love to go back during the fall and see all the leaves changing color.

Very beautiful scenery. Campground very quiet during the week. On weekends it's packed & not so quiet lol

Sites to me are on top of one another.

Different types of things to do up by camp store, putt putt golf, air hockey table, foosball table, ping pong table, nature center with amphibians in aquariums, bicycle rentals, canoe & paddle boat rentals. Even a little outdoor movie theater. Workers are knowledgeable & nice. There's a fire tower. And lots of trails. Decent shower house with hot water & flush toilets beside it. Pit toilets are creepy with spider webs & extra bugs. Washer & a dryer. There's also a beach which was very relaxing due to the view & the sand was kinda of rocky but still soft.

Also there's areas up by camp store for hummingbirds, bees & butterflies to collect nectar with all the beautiful flowers. Great lil family campground!

Awesome place for a motorcycle ride! Lots of gravel roads throughout the park. Highly recommended!
