Very clean and family friendly place to stay. The owners were great and they have everything you don't even have to leave to get propane or ice. Plus there's a dollar general in walking distance.

I would like to retract my previous review and apologize for the misinformation……i reviewed the wrong campground as i was not paying close enough attention to the location on the map. This is a nice place with super friendly and understanding people. I would 10/10 recommend this peaceful campground!

My husband and I have full timed in our RV for 16 years and have stayed in several campgrounds across the country and this is one of our favorites! It's a beautiful, quiet & safe place to stay. This is one of the few places that offers consistent water pressure and we haven't had to buy bottled water because it is good quality. Walter, the owner is friendly, very helpful & he provides a laundry room & propane on-site which is very convenient. We have stayed several months here and absolutely love it! If you're ever in the area & need a long-term campsite (they only do monthly reservations which cuts out a lot of the rif raf & noise) then definitely make a plan to stay here!

DO NOT STAY HERE! Story time so please read it all before you decide to move here!!!

We moved to this park in march of 2023. We keep to ourselves and enjoy being outside, and cooking on the grill with our neighbors. We have 2 dogs who love to be outside with us. We have never had the first complaint from the owner or any neighbors. We have followed all rules here and never even considered we were a problem...or so we thought.

The owner came to our site the other day and got mad at us because we were killing his grass by the fire pit and our grills. We spend 80% of our time here outdoors, as most do who live in their camper. He said our site was embarrassing and it was trashy with the dead grass and all the chairs by the fire pit. I told him it’s because we have neighbors that come over sometimes from 5 campers down and we sit outside regardless of how cold it is and we have a fire and cook on the grill almost every night. He said not anymore you’re not. You need to put your chairs and fire pit in storage.

He then looked at my car, and looked at my camper. And said, “you look like you can afford it, this is what we are going to do. You’re going to give me a $500 deposit and clean the chairs and throw away these boxes by 3pm today or im turning off your electric and water, then Im calling every RV park in 100 miles from here and telling them how nasty this is" (keep in mind there were maybe 4 small boxes and a empty 12pk Dr Pepper box, in a fire pit waiting to dry before we used it as kindling for our next fire). He told us to meet him at the office to give him his deposit so that’s what we did. We went to the office 2xs to see him and both times he wasn’t there. So we stupidly put the money in the drop box. We have since moved out and have tried to get in contact with him to see about getting out $500 deposit back, and our $250 electric back but he won’t answer any phone calls or texts from the 4 number I have for him. He won’t answer the door either.

Also, !!!!!!!The pictures posted on google are false advertising!!!!!!!

The pictures on google show the place with fresh white gravel, clean sites with a clean place to park your truck and trailer. It shows a “playground” for the kids, nice manicured grass, a bath house with showers, and multiple cabins that are ready for use. ITS ALL A LIE. The bath house has been closed since 2019 and is full being used as a storage unit. The cabins have been closed since 2018 and most of them are rotting or have holes in the roof. There’s gaps under the doors so animals have been coming and going as they please. HE EVEN HAS 2 CABINS THAT ARE CHAINED OFF WITH A CHAIN LONK FENCE AND THEY ARE FULL OF ROOSTERS AND CHICKENS!!!! AND YES THEY ARE LOUD!!!!!! The gravel is so old that that it’s under the dirt and now when it rains all of the camp ground roads are nothing but mud. 90% of the sites are now muddy so you have to park in mud or huge water puddles and then track it inside. There’s a guy that has to park his truck in another site next to his site and then walk over because his driveway/yard is so muddy. You can’t keep your truck clean for weeks after it rains just because of how muddy stay after it rains. You can’t even keep your camper floors clean. The “playground” for the kids is gone. He bulldozed it down and just put all the old broken wood in the back of the rv park, 5+ years ago, so now there’s a ton of old rotting wood at the back of the campground. At the same “playground” area there’s a half finished in ground trampoline that has holes all over the side and the caution tape has been broke for months, a child could fall down these holes and seriously hurt themselves, the grass is so over grown that it would now take a brush hog to clear, there’s piles of left over sheet metal all over the area where the “playground” was. There’s piles of old rotten and molded wood that have been sitting at the office for years. There are unfinished projects, leftover trash from other tenents thats been there for months. He spends minimal money on upkeep for the campground and it shows.
