I don't think they should charge 7.00 a day for parking. We already paid for camping why would they charge for parking. They only should charge non campers. Also, the sites are small hard to back in. I also have a suggestion. You should carry basic supplies in the office. There are no stores around so if you forget something you are out of luck.
Great time staying at this park!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. When I arrived they had a sign "in park" and a number following I called and one of the workers did not hesitate to come right away and help. That's great customer service. Bathrooms always looked and smelled clean.
Cute campground with clean restrooms and shower’s. Beach area was cute but the lake water quality is not tested and my kids brought me 4 big spikes they found in the water.
The campsites are also so narrow that with the back wheel up against the sewer hook up you had to choose between a campfire or awning. Otherwise you’re fire was under the awning.
Great campground. Our group of 8 stayed 4 nights, 4 adults, 4 kids. Plenty of trees, clean showers & restrooms. Peaceful! Staff was helpful & friendly, always out maintaining things. Playground was great for the kids. We enjoyed the basketball court. Beach was clean and a decent size. We wish we could have stayed longer but we'll definitely be back 😉
Came to visit Michigan and my friends were staying at Diamond Lake County Park so I went up and stayed with them and the park was a great time! Staff was always out in the park cleaning and picking up which was nice to see. Other parks I've been to I rarely see staff. The beach are was very relaxing and clean. Shoutout to those 2 working I went to use the bath house and they were both super clean I definitely will be back. Great job
