We decided to stop here on our way up to CO to see the dinosaur tracks and they were actually really awesome. Luckily we went after it had been raining a lot so they were the most visible but we did hear that when it's been really dry, sometimes the dirt slightly covers them so you can't seem them as clearly. Either way, the park has a nice set up with a wooden pathway to walk through and information along the way. Definitely worth it if you're in the area or wanting to go camp and spend some time. The park itself is also gorgeous so I wish we could've been there an entire day but the couple of hours we did make it was completely worth it!

Hidden gem outside of Clayton NM. Prices for daily parking is about 5.00 to visit the Dino tracks. It’s a 1/2 mile walk to the site and back. On a hill, but easy to walk. Lake is clean and beautiful

Absolutely cannot beat the price for this park!

Spot was pretty level. Long enough for truck and travel trailer but not much else. Our spot (E2) was a very tight turn.

Dinosaur tracks are very cool. Bath facilities were decent. Incredibly dark skies for stargazing if you're interested in that. Saw some pronghorn antelope on the drive out.
