Located 7 minutes to downtown Civic Center. From I-74 exit 87B, N. on Rt. 6, go 6 mi to exit 6 on St Rt. 40, 1 mile.
Absolutely wonderful. It is quiet almost (99.9%) all the time. Very friendly people. Roy has been wonderful helping us find the things we need. Also helping us understand rv living better. Overall it's a great place to be. Our kids love playing outside and it's safe enough for them to. Close to everything you could need and very clean.
We rented a spot for our sons trailer. Day one Roy shut the water off as our sons trailer had a small water leak. Not only did he shut his water off but immediately said he had to leave, kicked out for a water leak within hours of arriving. No notice, no reason, just a small water leak. It took three weeks for us to drive up from out of state to move him. I cleaned the spot after moving the trailer out and Roy said he would send us $100 refund for the unused rent. No refund for not having water for three weeks. Three weeks have passed and Roy hasn't been honest about refunding us, he knows we live out of state so rather than being honest he's decided to take the low road and not send that refund as he promised. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this plàce, it's not run by honest people namely, Roy who is running it for and living with his elderly parents.
Rebuttal to Roy.
Nobody dumped anyone off and you know that, we weren't even there when you rented to him. Instead, you spin a story to make yourself feel better about being a liar and a scam artist. You've now slandered a tenant as mentally unstable after you scammed their money.
Test of truth here Roy, is you said you'd send a refund for unused rent, you said this to my face, you didn't send anything and you knew you weren't going to when you said it, that's the truth.
Called to see was anything was available. The guy was rude you deserve no stars. Learn how to speak to people.
I'm looking to relocate to Peoria for my job and just looking for a mobile home for the winter while I get used to the area and find something more permanent the gal I spoke to was very helpful, friendly and informed me that they didn't have any homes available now but she took my contact info and said she would keep me in mind if anything came available.
I’ve never been here but I am looking to purchase an RV and eventually look for a hookup spot. From the reviews I read on here with Roy whomever he may be He just seems intolerant and allergic to idiots. I applaud his responses for not folding just for the sake of good reviews. I’m 100% sure I will contact Roy to get more info. Good job 👏 realness is the key people you know what to expect. Treat others how you want to be treated. Respect 🫡 Roy
