Whether staying in our RV campground area or in one of our Cabin rentals at Shasta Lake your stay is sure to be a great one! Located just one mile off Interstate 5 on the Sacramento arm of Shasta Lake, nestled in the beautiful forest surrounding the lake, our resort is just a stones throw from the water with a launch area conveniently located right in front of the resort.
This quiet secluded resort is located on a bluff over looking Salt Creek. Feel safe and secure away from the crowds when you return to your little home away from home. A large swimming pool is there waiting for you or the kids to cool off.(Quiet time is 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.)Our season begins in May when the water is high and the weather is good. Peak season is from Memorial Day weekend through the Labor Day weekend.
I fell in love with this place! My friends and I stayed in cabin 2, right behind the office, for my 25th birthday on memorial day weekend. The lake is only a 2 min walk down a quiet little country road. I'd suggest bringing a thick blanket to lay down because the edge is very rocky. The water is amazingly silky, warm, and you can feel all the healthy minerals repair your skin!
The owners of this place are amazing!! They answered all my questions, were always curious about how our day went, and genuinely kind. They let us borrow a grill, grilling tools, and a lighter so we could have a little cookout.
Later, I was an idiot who forgot to buy s'mores ingredients, but the owner was an angel who went so far as to bring us her own personal stock of marshmallows and chocolate, complete with metal roasting skewers.
My biggest messup was leaving my camera at the fire pit! I called them up when we were already 2 hours away on our way home. The owner was so calm and went so far as to ship my camera all the back to Oakland for me. What amazing service!
The cabin itself was cozy, charming, had great air conditioning, and plenty of beds and separate rooms for all my friends. Before we left, we were already planning our next visit here!
I could not find a single other campground available for memorial day weekend, and could not be happier that I was able to stay here at Salt Creek Resort. Blessings to the owners and the 5 star service they provided to make me feel like a true princess on my birthday! Thanks ♥️
Loved our stay again! This was our second stay and again, it was wonderful. The managers were very helpful and friendly. The cabin was cool, clean, and comfortable. The kids loved the pool. It wasn't over crowded like a lot of the other resorts or RV parks. Will be back.
Very cozy. Cabins and rv hook areas for rent. It has a pool and is close to Lake Shasta. It's always a blast and great service! The lake is full, and the ramp to get in is right outside the resort.
I was the chosen applicant for becoming the new Camp host. My girlfriend and I drove up to be given a detailed explanation of our job. Both of the property managers were less interested in doing any training with the husband out sick the first two days. Then the wife was out for the next two as well. After a conversation very uninformed and disappointed five-day stay. We went back home following a that we would hear back from them the next day to pick a date as to when they would want us to start. Instead, we were told that they had changed their mind and were ² us drive there from the Central Coast, only to have them do the job themselves, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The grounds were poor condition etc.mold in the cabins. They need to remodel bad
❤️ My old childhood happy place. Where did the old anchored bbq party boat dock barge go. It's gone! Did it burn down?! Herb and Ida rolling in their graves! So, taking any reservations far ahead for 2045? I have plans! Please don't burn down! 🪐🌚☀️
