From center of town: Go 1/4 mi S on Hwy-96, then 1 mi S on Elk Creek Rd.
Terrible staff....rude & threatening. If this is the way they are going to act, let the county take it over or permanently close it.
Great free space on a large clean body of water. A few spots can fit 40' motorhomes, the rest are good for 30' or less.
The weekend are very busy here, but the weekdays are nice and quite. Unfortunately a lot of people do not respect the area, and come party for the night then leave there trash everywhere. From what I understand the campground is moving towards making campers pay for the night because of all the filth.
Nice campgrounds next to the water, bathrooms can get pretty nasty, flys were bad, and the wind can get pretty strong..we had a family of 31 everyone had a blast
