HELLO TRAVELERS!

WE SPENT A MONTH AT MID RIVER RV PARK, DUE TO OUR T/T BREAKING DOWN.WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD. THE RV PARK IS BEAUTIFUL, WELL KEPT AND QUIET! BRUCE IS THE OWNER AND HE IS SO NICE. HE HELPS YOU WITH ANY INFORMATION OR PROBLEMS THAT COME UP. IF YOU HAPPEN TO STAY, CHECK OUT THE ROSES THAT ARE GROWN ON THE PROPERTY. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VARIETY. WE ALSO HAD A CHANCE TO SEE TO SMALL DEER BEHIND US COMING OUT AT DUSK. WHILE YOU ARE HERE THERE IS A STORE, A GAS STATION, A POST OFFICE AND A CAFE THAT IS OPEN FROM 7AM TIL 2PM WITH EXCELLENT FOOD.

YREKA IS ABOUT 60 TO 70 MILES AWAY AND HAS ANYTHING ELSE YOU MAY NEED, ON THE WAY IF THE WEATHER IS GOOD, YOU'LL SEE MT.SHASTA, WHAT A SIGHT! YREKA HAS A WALMART, RITE AID, GAS STATIONS, STORES, HOSPITAL, CLINICS, ANYTHING YOU'D NEED. SCOTT RIVER WILL BE ON YOUR RIGHT AND PLENTY OF PLACES TO PULL OFF OR TO GO DOWN TO THE RIVER

.

THANK YOU BRUCE FOR YOUR KINDNESS, TRAVEL'IN ON......

Small RV park with a nice hiker area. Coin showers. Conveniently located next post office store cafe. A bit rough around the edges.

Worked for an overnight stop on PCT. Buttercup was the best! Nice cafe and well-stocked small grocery store next door.

Came in off the PCT and was glad to of had an evening place to shower and camp. Considering the location, they are, were the only option for organized camping and I was happy to of had a place to rest. Warm showers are always a bonus after coming out of, off the mountains :)

Stayed a night here while on the PCT in 2019. The owner was great to chat with and a hot shower was fantastic after a day of pouring rain. Not sure why all the three star reviews; apparently hiker trash expect a 5-star hotel stay at an RV park...
