About Campground

The ranch is on 112 acres of rolling meadows with full RV hook ups. Tent camping is also available with toilet in the barn.

The RV site is next to the main house and the barn on a gravel pad. You can take a stroll around the property, hang out by the fire pit, enjoy the peacefulness or stare at the stars and the milky way. Take a drive on the Highway of Legends, go check out the Great Sand Dune State Park, visit Stonewall (part of the Dakota Sandstone Formation) or Devil's Stairsteps (grandest dikes of the area), Lathrop State Park, La Veta, Cuchara just to name a few places.

We are 20 minutes from La Veta a cute little town or 45 minutes from another cute town called Westcliffe. Groceries are available in Walsenburg.

Directions

From the north (Pueblo): Take 25 South, exit 56 (Red Rock Road), turn right on Red Rock. At the end of the road, turn right on 69 North. Take it for about 4 miles, turn left on County Road 524 (across from 524 is a huge cattle loading corral), at the fork stay to the right (you will be on 521) continue for about 3 miles. Turn left on Black Hills Road (the sign for it will be on the right side of the road). Turn left on Spanish Peak Drive, we are located on the left (across from mini dumpster). Take the driveway and follow the signs for trucks.

From the South (Trinidad): Take exit 52 to Gardner/Westcliffe.

Turn Left at the stop sign.

Turn Right onto 69N (also says West) located right after the Phillips gas station.

Stay on 69 for about 9.3 miles.

Turn left on County Road 524 which is a gravel road (across from 524 is a huge cattle loading corral on the right side of the road).

In 3.7 miles there is a fork in the road (Majors Ranch and CR 521), stay to the right (you will be on 521) continue for about 1.4 miles.

Turn left on Black Hills Road (the sign for it will be on the right side of the road, be vigilant because it is super easy to miss it).

Stay on Black Hills for about 1.7 miles.

Turn left on Spanish Peak Drive for about 0.5 miles, we are located on the left (across from mini dumpster), you will also see Moonstruck Ranch sign on the left. Take the driveway and follow the signs for trucks (basically stay to the left).
