About Campground

The perfect spot for a romantic getaway for a couple looking for a lakeside retreat and a scenic walking trail through the pasture and woods. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake, shop in Tupelo or see Elvis' birthplace during the day, and enjoy a late evening walk around the property. It's the best decision you could make for your next trip!

Or, the best family trip you have every planned. See the look on your child's face when they catch a monster bass! Go with them to pet the horses, talk to the chickens, or hold the bunny rabbit. Moon Lake Retreat consists of 77 acres of woods, water, and pastureland. The lake is fully stocked with trophy bass, panfish, and catfish. If you walk on the south end of the property, you will see geese, cranes, and wood ducks. In the spring, you might even see a turkey strut!

It's the perfect family getaway.

Last minute R&R was just what we needed, and Moon Lake was the perfect spot! Booking and check in was a breeze, and the rooms were spotless. The slightly larger mini fridge was perfect for our dinner takeout, and the hosts even provided water bottles which I appreciated. We slept in the next day, but found the opportunity for a mid morning walk around the lake and garden before checking out. My only regret is not having the time to fish! We will be back!

We had a great stay. One of my many stops as I biked the entire Natchez Trace. The rooms were clean and inviting and had everything we needed. Access was easy, the hosts were attentive, and the property was beautiful. Would definitely stay again!

So enjoyable! We were there during a full moon, and experienced the moon over the water - beautiful! Comfortable bed and everything one would need in the room. Charming facility, complete with cats, donkey, horse and lots of acreage to explore. Hosts were lovely!

If you want relaxing, tranquil, beautiful scenery, sweet little farm critters and pecan trees. You’ve picked the right spot! We had an amazing time. The screened in area fridge needed to be cleaned out. Other than that is was a 5 star! 🤩

This place was amazing! Super clean, very friendly family! Beautiful lake to sit around and drink coffee! They offer horse stables for us horse people traveling with our horses and this is very much appreciated! And the bed was so comfortable I would have thought I was in my own bed at home!! My only regret is that I didn’t have time to just enjoy the scenery! I will definitely use them again!
