Lack of consideration. I called and left a message. They called back and for some reason my phone did not ring. I called back immediately upon seeing voice mail. I stated name and number again, said my phone didn’t ring, would like a spot for the night and we had been there previously. After a tough drive through Memphis we arrived about 4:30 and told they were full and he could not be bothered to call back. I guess we won’t be bothered to return again. A little common courtesy goes a long way.

Stopped for one night but wish it had been longer!! Our hillside pull thru was a gravel site and extra large. Lots of trees, plants and various sitting areas throughout the campground. New updated and clean facilities. Takes only cash or check which was fine with us. Hope to see you again!

We have a 44 foot Class A motorhome. Here is my review for Campground at Barnes Crossing. We only stayed one night. We were given a pull through in the front of the campground. The campground was easy to get to and the roads inside are gravel and in good condition. The sites are very narrow and too close to other campers. The site was not level. We had to use several blocks under the tires. There is no good view of anything. Wifi seemed good. Not sure if we would come back, but if we did, we would ask for sites 7 or 8. The office and bathhouse look very nice.

A lovely, well-kept spot. Greg was very friendly and helpful. Late arrival was easy. Gravel spots level and landscape maintained in woodland cozy fashion. Adore this hideaway. Not for you if road or train noise is a bother. But we sure didn't mind!

We travel between St. Louis and Pensacola very regularly, and this is one of our most visited parks. Beautifully situated, the lots are nicely sized and very level. The staff has always been amazing to work with. The only reason I don't give them a fifth star is the only except cash or check.
