It is highly recommended that a 4WD vehicle is used to reach the cement boat ramp (1/2 mile away).
In Augusta, MT, take Manix St. west (toward Gibson Reservoir) 3.7 miles to Gibson Reservoir sign. At this intersection, turn right and go 21.8 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
I loved for the familiar smells and scenes of the Montana outdoors that I love!!!
Campground with many large campsites with a fire pit and community bathrooms. A short walk down the road will take you to a mostly level dirt trail around Gibson Reservoir.
