Great views from the trails above the pass. I wouldn't recommend going up the Alice Creek route unless you're looking for a longer hike.
A most excellent place. Two trails will intersect the CDT from this TH. There is a restroom at this location, but you need your own soap and water to wash your hands. Plenty of parking, several picnic tables.
This used to be such a rich and beautiful area, but it has become decimated with beetle and fire damage. Still, it is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy nature at its most raw form. There is a nice creek and areas to picnic a bit lower from the trailhead.
