Great time!! We had so much fun hiking around the lake and looking for beautiful rocks!
We went here with the hopes of fishing. As others have said the water is pretty low so the boat ramp no longer works properly. We carried the aluminum boat to the water after driving down the ramp, our feet sank in the mud but we made it ok. Saw some fish but didn't catch anything. I wouldn't recommend a boat that you can't carry lol. People were very friendly which made it pretty fun still !
Was very very hot but we had a great time. My kid kayaked and we enjoyed our secluded spot. Just be careful walking into the water with shoes cuz you sink into the mud like concrete. Beautiful sunsets
