Very nice campground. They are getting ready to do more improvements during the winter. Only downside is I think they have some longer-term campers. The camper next to us had flat tires and the area looked like they had been there a little while . Great campground hosts. If you have issues with your campground let him know he might be able to help you out.

If I could give more stars, I definitely would! This campground is a beautiful little campground. The sites are very nice, concrete pads, full hook ups, covered picnic table area, fire pits, clean bathrooms/showers and even a laundry room!

But the best part of the campground is the host!!! He was so helpful at our time of need. Our pickup broke down, but we were able to make it to the campground and he made sure we had a spot, and then some! He went above and beyond to help this family in need! I am so very thankful we ended up there! The campground may not have much for kids to do, but it truly is a beautiful campground that we hope to get back to again!

This place was great. The loudest thing here in these 18 sites were my kids! Quiet. Private. Well maintained. Concrete, level, pads and sewer and water at each site. Big, heavy, steel fire pits and grills as well. More improvements coming in December 2023. We will be back to Jefferson City for an extended work trip and we'll be setting up camp here. Dog was fantastic and available. Really enjoyed it here.

Cons... You can't get to the rest of the park without a car or walking a ridiculous distance.

The grass was out of control by the time we left. It needed to be cut badly, but I assume that responsibility lies on the city.

There were a TON of ticks in the area - be careful!

Laundy and bathrooms could stand to be updated.
