From Two Harbors take Co. Rd. 2 (N) 26 mi. to Co. Rd. 15; turn left (W) 0.5 mi; turn left (S) at Sullivan Lake Rd. entrance.
This place is a dump and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. We stayed there 5 nights and had a bear in camp 3 nights. The lake is shallow and offers no real quality fishing.
Lots of nice pull through sites. Excellent for truck campers. The lake views for sunsets we're amazing. Vault toilet across from site 6 must be new as it was very nice for what it is. Our firepit tipped over with the weight of the grill swung out. Town of Two Harbors is 26 miles (30 min) away, so don't forget anything.
Very beautiful, calm and quiet campsites, secluded, with wonderful views. We camped here in early spring and saw all kinds of wonderful wildlife.
OMG. Stay away from this place. Much better going to a private campground with all the amenities you want and deserve.
No pool, electricity or flush toilets. And not even a hot shower close by.
Bugs bugs bugs. Not even a fly seater could keep them away.
This is a little out-of-the-way. About 45 minutes from Gooseberry Falls about an hour from grand Marais. But totally worth it. It’s a gorgeous little lake, and there nobody else there it was a Tuesday but it’s definitely less crowded. Only tent camping here, but definitely do it if your tent camping it’s worth it to be in the middle of nowhere.!!
