From I-90, take State Highway 76 south for 24 miles, then take Houston County 1 west for 4 miles.
Beautiful peaceful state park on the smaller side. The creek is pleasant, with clear cool water. The bathrooms in the day use area were clean. The picnic area had a few fire rings with swinging grill grates on them. There was a lack of garbage disposal in the day use area so we packed in/packed out. Checked out the camping area and decided it's on our list of places to stay.
Variety of camp sites available including electric, non electric and cabins. Nice flat sites for tents, although a bit on the small side. Multiple water spigots along the road made lugging water easy. Park is a hiker's paradise with several trails and stunning scenery. There is a playground and picnic area, but no dog run area (dogs are allowed). Office staff wasn't overly friendly, but a very nice campground!
