Quaint . My Friends just bought a used trailer and "pad" and got in at the perfect time. The owner is doing a lot of improvements to the resort/ camp. Including edging out the old trailers when someone buys a pad. I believe the place was built in the 70s. Their docks and slips are extensive as you can see in the Pic on their webpage. Also very few mosquitoes as they spray the grounds to quell the mosquitoe population. I enjoyed my visit with my Friends who are extremely happy with their d3cision to buy there.
Wonderful resort with friendly faces at every cabin! Never a dull moment at the Water's Edge on good ole Farm Island Lake!
We had such a wonderful stay at Water's Edge Resort! We rented cabin 8 and it was perfect for our large group! The kids loved swimming and playing in the huge sandbox, we enjoyed hanging out by the fire each night. Our group does a yearly camping trip, and we all agreed that we would return to Water's Edge Resort for our trip next year!
First time here, and it did not disappoint. Cabin was a bit cramped with 11 people. However, the only time we were in it were to make meals or sleep. The lake was also 10/10 nice swimming area for the kiddos and great fishing. Look forward to making this a yearly trip.
Great resort for family to relax and make memories! Our cabin was clean and definitely up to the expectation. We got to swim and boat and watch the sunset. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and the fellow campers are quiet and pleasant. Local store had the best pizza and a close restaurant near by too.
