The Upper Falls is very beautiful and you get close. We did not hike to the Middle Falls due to the length of the hike and time.

Beautiful state park. The camp ground is nice and the bathrooms/showers were nice and clean. There is a lot of noise throughout the entire night from traffic on 61. Especially when the big trucks cross the bridge. So I recommend camping in the farther camp sites from road. Especially if you are tent camping. I couldn't sleep at all and unfortunately had to leave a night early. But obviously the park can't do anything about traffic noise. It is what it is. I was in camp #27. Which is a bummer because it's one of the more private camp sites.

Had a great experience camping at Site #22 for 3 nights! Bathrooms had hot showers, and campsites have enough foliage and trees between to make it feel private and cozy. Access to SHT from campground by foot was great, and we walked to the shore of Lake Superior from our campsite multiple times as well. Definitely worth the drive!
