This is a really fun state park with a lot to do in it. The hiking trails are very well maintained, and there are also informational signs around.

There are also spots further down some trails to jump off rocks into the river.

Wonderful views and well maintained walking path. Some steep parts but still a good hike if you take your time.

Temperance River State Park is one of the most underrated and a hidden gem in the North shore. One. Would never get enough of the lake Superiors view from this park. I have camped here twice and the experience was amazing. I recommend camping at the lower campground and sports particularly 42-44 for the best experience. I am glad that I chose this park for my vacation. The amenities are good overall. They have an onsite shower and toilet facilities which are well maintained. Bug spray is a must because the park can get damp .

Favorite north shore river. Quick and easy hike to the most gorgeous spots but you can also get down along the river and scramble a little bit if that’s your thing. Other than right along the river, the paths here are easy hiking. Also a great place to take the doggo.
