This place is a real jewel. Perfect for families. The playgrounds are best suited for kids up to age 11. Our kids, ages 4 & 9 had a blast. There are plenty of other things older kids and adults to do, though. If you have bikes, bring them as the whole campground is very bike-friendly. We rented one of the cabins and it was surprisingly comfortable. As expected, there was no bath or water in our cabin, but the immaculate restrooms and showers were an easy short walk away. Staff was friendly and exceptionally service oriented. The heated pool was a little chilly, but it was mid-September so that’s to be expected. We’re definitely coming back next year.
Every summer my husband and children come to stay for 5 nights. We are absolutely in LOVE with this campground! They are always so understanding and accommodating when needed. We were a little bummed that we had a small cabin with no extra room and they were able to upgrade us to a two bedroom loft that my kids had a BLAST in. Everything is simple perfect at Mill Creek and we will not stay anywhere else in the area. Mill creek is a family tradition and we just simply enjoy every aspect of the property.
We have stayed here and it is a great location. The lake is "right there" and in general it is a fine park.
One thing to be aware of is that you can spend a lot of time on their maps choosing the site you want to reserve. When you reserve your site it is not held for you unless you pay an extra $15 dollars for that privilege. So your reservation is not a reservation until you pay to reserve your reservation.
So likely not a deal breaker, but something to note.
