Midway Campground is located off of Grey's Well Road and offers visitors areas to camp. Vaulted toilets and dumpsters are available on site.
Access to Midway Campground is best made by taking Gray's Well Road Exit off of Interstate 8. Follow Gray's Well Road past the Buttercup Ranger Station and continue west.
It's a small campground not to crowded, easy access to the dunes. Just watch out for the people crossing the border, they are wearing same color of the sand trying to blend in with sand to avoid detection from the border patrol.
Nice! Secluded , somewhat safer for the Family. Super stinky potty’s , but when you got to go, glad to have them there
Close to the border but probably the safest camp around that I've stayed in
Pretty cool spot in the Buttercup area.
Limited sites, but there are restrooms and trash receptacles.
