poorly described not much there . You have to walk distance over rough rocky areas to even get near the site. not good for seniors
A hike through the TUMCO ruins is a glimpse through mining history in the Colorado River desert are of southeast CA.. The area is open to all and is fairly accessable. Good walking shoes, plenty to drink and the ability to let go of today for a taste of yester years in the desert is a must though. Before going doing a bit of reading is suggested, as the the BLM no longer provides self guided tour information. ,
