Nice little park for over night or short stay plenty of places near by if you need to restock up on supplies water and electric is available
Perfect and affordable for our entire family. In walking distance to a huge park and a lake. At 20 a night was super affordable. Bath house and bathrooms where always clean. Could use more trash cans outside
What a beautiful campground. I was there the weekend after July 4, and there were only four of the 20 sites used. $25 for electric & water!
This park is close to several restaurants and is a great quiet place to enjoy a meal. If you have a dump tank on your RV it’s only 5 dollars to use the dump station. It looks like every site has electricity. Lots of covered tables and a play area for the kids. Public bathrooms and showers are clean. I’ve never seen this place more than half full.
Pettit Park is a lovely little city park on the Tobacco River. I often take a lunch break parked at the far end of this well groomed and quiet place. It has camp space for tents and campers offered at a very reasonable price and playground equipment for the younger set. I haven’t had to use the bathroom amenities, but there is a comfortably sized building with flush plumbing available to campers and day use folks. All in all, it’s a great place for a weekend getaway or a comfortable nights stay while passing through. There are many dining opportunities very nearby so there is that option as well.
